Place: Ar/Ge.T27.64

Locus opened directly beneath L57 in order to investigate whether L06 has a lower course of stones, however, after some excavation it is clear that there is a very deep pit in this locus cut into the bedrock. Soil is an light brown ashy loam. Length refers to the measurement taken from N-S, while width refers to the measurement taken from E-W. Pit contained a bag of bones, and at least two large storage vessels (fragmented), while very few lithics. Two stone tools from the pit. Only half of the pit was excavated because the baulk between T22 and T27 cuts it in half. Soil sample taken from the pit as well as from the fragments of the larger vessel.
