This locus constitutes the wheelbarrow ramp in operation WSAD, extending out from the SW baulk into the center of the operation. The ramp was removed 8/6/10 after exposing a paved floor in this excavation. The ramp consisted of a dark, loamy soil comparable to the overburden and wash seen elsewhere in this operation; its excavation did however merge into the remnants of Locus 21 in the center of the trench, adding some mixture of the brown/silty clay matrix. However directly beneath this locus were more stones of the paved floor, and they appear to have been directly beneath the darker soil of the overburden, unlike in operation WSAC. See notebook for sketch and elevations; given is center.
Bottom elevation is top of paved floor against SW baulk.
