Not sure exactly what this area represents, but it is a space contiguous with the locus 10 floor set against the south side of the large vertical stone along western baulk. What set it apart as a locus was that it seemed to be contained by a line of cobbles running off the east end of the vertical stone and another perpendicular line running toward the west baulk, boxing in this area. Took a 2 bag soil sample by scraping the floor area inside the stones.
