Remarks

This is a small line of rocks that connect what appears to be a column base near the SW edge of the trench with the "post hole" stone near Locus 27. It appears to be a deliberately-constructed line of rocks, connecting two important points, and so it was made into a locus. I considered making the west corner of the trench into a locus, because it is delineated on its northeast side by Loci 24 and 27, and on its SE side by Locus 30. However, I was not sure what its SW edge might be bounded by, except the edge of WSI2, which is a false boundary, since it only marks the boundary of where WSI was excavated in 2006. However, if in WSI there is a possible boundary to WSI2's west corner, it might be necessary to create a new locus. In EF's 2010 notebook, there are measurements for what was exposed in 2010, listed on 8/12/10's entry as "Locus 31," which I ultimately decided not to create.
