Strange channel cut into locus 31 floor and bedrock and opens up at its south end into locus 32 pit. It also appears to open up on its eastern side into locus 34 pit (the pit that is halfway under the large eastern wall. Not sure what the purpose of the channel could be; perhaps diverting rain water into the pits? If so, why not other similar channels in other parts of the floor? A small handful of materials recovered from the soil in the channel.
