Appears to be a second floor surface under locus 16 floor, so far only exposed directly on south side of locus 13 large wall. We uncovered this floor in last day or two of excavation while taking a small probe to see if locus 16 floor was resting on bedrock. This is the third level of floor for the operation, and the second clear level on south side of the wall. May be synchronous with locus 18 'wall' in NE corner of operation. Got a good radiocarbon sample on floor surface which will help clarify occupation sequence.
