Place: Ar/Ts.WSN.23

This locus designates the northern quadrant of WSN, the area that was not excavated in 2010 (aside from sod removal). The matrix is a dark brown rocky silt. Top elevation indicated above is the center elevations--other points available in notebook. The logic behind beginning the season with this locus was to bring this area of the trench to the level of locus 7 so as not to damage or dirty the other areas of the trench that are near to the likely floor.
