Locus 1 is the topsoil/sod of a new operation WSAC2 extending 2010's op. WSAC roughly 8 meters to the southwest, to the southern corner of the room. Locus 1 therefore covers an area 8.2 by 6.2, the full extent of the operation; the southeast baulk is the partition wall between WSAC and WSAD. Locus 1 is a dark, loamy topsoil with grass and roots and very little materials. Depth given is center of operation, see notes for sketch and other elevations. Closed 1/7/11.
