The whole area of the trench is locus 1. Upon removing the topsoil we noticed 3 stones - put in order. The soil was dark and grainy. On -45 cm from 0 point we reached the bedrock sand. We deepened the excavation for mor 20 cm to verify the existance of a real wall. Apparently there was none, so we stopped the work in this trench.
