This locus is a continuation of the dark, loose loamy soil of humus in room WSAC and below Locus 1, the sod. The area of the locus is delimited by the NE, NW and SW baulks and the partition wall in the operation, and the locus tapers from 3.3 m width along the NE baulk to 4.4 m width along the SW baulk. The matrix seems to have a mixed assemblage of Late Bronze and Iron III sherds, from erosion of the citadel. Depth given is center, see notes for sketch and other elevations.
