This locus is a continuation of the dark, loose loamy soil of the humus below the topsoil, locus 1, in Room WSAC2, but delimited to the top of the partition wall in the operation, which extends 2.9 m wide along the NE baulk towards the southeastern baulk, tapering to 1.8 m wide. Depth given is center. The top of the wall is roughly similar to the partition wall excavated last year between WSAC and WSAD and the beginnings of a rubble fill are appearing.
