This locus constitutes the remainder of the really dark, loose loam of the upper overburden in WSAC2 under Locus 2, and borders Locus 4 and covers the western and southern section of the operation, to the partition wall. The matrix is darker and more loose than Locus 4 and still has a considerable mix of LBA/Iron III ceramics. Depth given is center; see notebook for sketch and other elevations. Locus closed 4/7/11.
