Place: Ar/Ts.WSN.31

This locus marks the space between the northeast wall of room N and the alignment of stones that runs parallel to this wall. The matrix is a silty clay and is dense with ceramic sherds belonging, it appears, to just a few vessels (esp. a large red pot). In addition, we collected large chunks of what appears to be sun baked or not highly fired clay. Some of these were found beneath a few stones of the loci that were initially thought to belong to the feature itself but later proved to be floating. The area was excavated by trowel. A separate loci will be created for the feature itself once we ascertain whether it extends deeper into the trench with another course of stones.
