In the lens of tan clay in the NW corner of Locus 4, we uncovered part of a beam which is lying at a slight angle, in two pieces, in the tan clay surface. The upper portion of the beam measured 35 cm x 15 cm, with a diameter of approx 14 cm. The upper most elevation of the upper portion of the beam was 2284.70 masl, the lower most elevation of the upper portion was 2284.64 masl. This portion was taken as a sample for wiggle matching.

The lower portion of the beam measured 14 cm x 30 cm x 7cm. The uppermost elevation for the lower portion was 2284.56 masl, and the lowermost elevation for the the lower part of the beam was 2284.46 masl. A portion of the lower part of the beam was taken as a C14 sample (Ar/Ge.T31.9.C14.01).
