This is a small indeterminate handle with a 'nub' on the top (or at "elbow" joint) where the vertical shaft turns to connect to the vessel. There is a slight ridge on the underside of the handle. The handle is part of the collection being sent for INAA and so the interior Munsell was not recorded. The form of this nubbed handle is 'morphic' as part of comparative project (see WSE.02.C.02, WSE.03.C.13, WSI.16.C.01, WSAD.20.C.01); Abramova and Medvedskaya have interpreted these protrusions to be animal horns. Surfaces highly eroded, so can't tell if was once polished or burnished.
