Originally a 1m x 6m locus in the front (NW wall) of the trench, but I expanded it when no new soil matrix emerged. Eventually along the SW wall the dark brown silt transitioned to a reddish clay. Locus 8 included a lot of rock fall. Some of these may not be floating, but we'll see for sure in the next locus.
