Large stone basin located along south baulk and adjacent to locus 4 stone wall. The basin is 36cm deep. All the soil within basin was sampled by Roman within 7 large plastic shopping bags. A small handful of materials were found while he was troweling out the soil, including a very tiny bead (Ar/Ts.SLT13.5.Pa.1). Technically it was screened since the soil was run through the flotation machine.
