Stratum immediately below locus 3, located exterior to the stone quadrant represented by loci 2 and 4. Soil is more loamy (larger-grained, wet), with a brown-to-tan color.
Potsherds very common (likely LBA). Animal bones are occuring with increasing frequency. Virtually no obsidian.
