Place: Ar/Ge.T31.17

Locus 17 is the area west of the line of rocks and west of Locus 12. The matrix in Locus 17 is a medium brown silty clay loam and doesn’t have the staining and mottled colors seen in Locus 12, though this may be due to the slope of the trench. The ceramics coming out of the locus are mixed EB and LB.
More rocks have appeared in the line of rocks between Locus 12 and Locus 17, but it is still not clear whether it is actually a wall.
Near the large rock in the NE corner of Locus 17, we found a piece of worked bone. (Ar/Ge.T31.17.B.01) at 2284.29 masl.From the western part of the locus, out of the screen, we recovered a flint sickle blade, which Reuben identified as EB.
