Place: Ar/Ge.T31.26

In general, the matrix in Locus 26 is the same mottled tan and medium brown clay, mixed with lenses of charcoal and ash. Along the eastern wall of the trench, there are small globules of light tan clay in the matrix. Material densities are low. This locus shows evidence of bioturbation (rodent burrows).

In the NE corner of Locus 26, near the rocks and charcoal, are concentration of yellow and orange clay. The beam that runs parallel to Locus 22 (NW-SE) is now Locus 27. The beam to the west of it, which runs NNW-SSE, is Locus 28. There is another beam lying on the rocks in the NE corner of Locus 26, which is now Locus 29. It runs NE-SW.

Along the southern wall of the trench was a small circular depression.
Along the northern wall, we found a stone wheel (Ar/Ge.T31.26.L.01) at 2283.94 masl.
Along the line of rocks next to the wall (Locus 25), we found half of a mano (Ar/Ge.T31.26.L.02). We found a fragment of a polishing stone (Ar/Ge.T31.26.L.03), underneath Locus 29.
