Remarks

Area of lighter brown and yellowish compact soil in the northern corner of operation WSAC3, where there appears to be a gap in the NW wall of the room. There are a number of large rocks emerging as Locus 2 was excavated, but that do not appear to be the face of a wall. Locus declared 25/7/11, closed 30/7/11. See notebook for sketch and elevations; given is center along SE edge of locus.
The excavation of the locus resulted in the emergence of a line of stones that is aligned with the face of the wall extending from the western corner, with the lighter chalkier matrix around them and what looks like another row of large stones behind them, creating a rather robust wall with a double face on one side(could it be a stand-alone?)
