Beginning of the lighter brown, more compact soil in WSAC3 underneath the very loamy silt of Locus 3. This locus is roughly L-shaped and extends from the northern corner along the NE baulk (roughly 6 m long by 1 m long) and then down the SE baulk. There are several large stones to the SW of this locus which may be some sort of linear feature. The matrix ended up being more of a mixture of the compact and looser soils, with a high density of small rocks strewn throughout. Also added to this locus were the materials that had fallen off of the SE baulk into WSAC2.
