THis is the second locus of T34, and is the soil layer just beneath the topsoil. It is primarily wash with some rock tumble especially in the NW corner of the trench. This is also where the bedrock is near surface. In the rest of the trench the bedrock seems to dive much deeper (excavation will tell how deep). No top elevation was taken for this locus, however, the bottom elevation given above represents a measurement from the center of the locus, with the N, S, E and W corner measurements in the notebook.
