Ash concentration in the very SW corner of the operation. Took 3 cloth sacks of soil samples for flotation (Ar/Ts.SLT14.19.ss.1a-c). This could be a hearth, but it was primarily a gray color with streaks of charcoal, much of which was too integrated with the soil to collect. There were flecks of charcoal around it on the locus 14 floor that surrounds the feature. Maybe some good charcoal will emerge from the flotation sample.
