Small, irregularly shaped pit-like depression in the clay floor of WSAC3 abutting a stone of the paved floor (16), roughly 3.5 m from the NE baulk and a meter from the SE edge. The feature consisted of a loose area of very dark, charcoal-y soil that contained no artifacts except two pieces of obsidian. Its shape is roughly triangular, and was 20 cm deep at the first excavation, when no soil sample was taken. See notebook for sketch and elevations from 5/8/11.
