Remarks

This locus refers to the "hearth"-like feature in the west corner of the room. The feature is framed by a semi-circular arrangement of stones at the center, surrounding a pit that contained evidence of burning. An additional alignment of flat stones frames the feature to the north, while a smaller stone alignment is on the western side. See notebook day 34 for additional measurements to those indicated above. The above elevation is only one point, of course, in the irregular surface of the feature.
