Place: Ar/Ts.WSM2.43

This locus ran along the SW wall. At this point it was apparent that a fair amount of soil remained in the NW 9.33m of the trench, and that there would not be enough time to dig all of it. We therefore decided to dig probes along the SW wall and the NE baulk to find the bedrock layer and, in the case of this locus, to find the bottom of the wall. This locus did reach the bottom of the NW wall, but not the SW wall. Another course remained.
