6/30/13 Locus 3 covers all but the top of the presumed wall in the southern/southwestern end of the trench. It is irregularly shaped, trapazoidal, narrower at the southeast (1.90m) and wider at the northwest (3.50m). The width indicated above is at the center of the locus. See drawing in notebook for 6/30. The matrix is a dark brown silt, with a fair number of small rocks.
