Locus 2 is an arbitrary distinction. Not for any archaeological reason. It contains the westerns half of the interior of the room (I think the room). The Locus is located within the NE, SE, SW, and NW walls and the balk. There were four boulders in the middle of the locus. After determining they were floaters, we removed all four boulders in the middle of the locus. This locus is a wash layer. The locus is located adjacent to locus 4 and \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"below\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" (south) locus 3. There are 2 different types of soil present in locus 2. The soil along the NE wall is lighter and contains more gravel. The soil along the SW wall is darker and looser. The soil along the SW wall appears black or dark roast coffee color.
