Rocky Clay silt. medium brown with a higher concentration of clay toward the walls and more silty toward the center of the locus. Starting to expose plastered wall stones. This locus is located adjacent to locus 4 and bisecting locus 2 (cutting this locus in half). This is an arbitrary distinction in terms of size, however, i created this locus after noting a soil change in locus 2. This locus is bordered by the NE wall, the NW wall and the line of rocks bisecting the trench going NS. No small finds, no charcoal, and no soil samples were taken from this locus.
