This locus was designated to manage archaeological deposits and is an arbitrary designation.The locus is adjacent to locus 7 and 9 and below locus 6. The soil is dark black and loose. I see about 2 courses of the wall exposed. After poking around with a stake, I believe a third course is below the SE and NE walls. The rocks bisecting the trench and running NS appear to be floaters. I found no small finds, no charcoal samples, and took no soil samples in this locus. This locus has no context. The locus is bordered by the SE and NE wall with the balk along the SW edge.
