This locus is an arbitrary designation to manage archaeological deposits and to further level the trench. For this reason, I did not take much soil out of this locus in the center. I found dark soil toward the center of the room. This soil is loose and gravelly. I took no charcoal samples in this locus. I found medium brown soil bisecting the locus running NE. This locus is adjacent to locus 8 and below locus 7. I have 2 large boulders in the center of the room, along the SE wall of the locus, that appear floating. No small finds are reported in this locus.
