This locus is the matrix that surrounded the body (Locus 20) in WSDB\\\\\\\'s W corner. It was a wash level, with a dark, silty soil. Its opening measurements were 1.10 m in length, 40 cm on the SE side, 57 cm on the NW side, and 64 cm in the center. Its opening elevs were N: 2137.525; W: 2137.535; SW limit: 2137.49; SE limit: 2137.561. Its closing dimensions remained the same on the NW side, but because the matrix extended out to the passageway, the length on the SW side was 2.52 m; SE was 1.2 m; NE was 2.7 m. Closing elevs: N: 2137.39; W: 2137.41; S: 2137.21; E: 2137.24; center: 2137.42. The stratum is uncertain, because we are not certain of the dating of the vessel associated w/ the body (Locus 20).
