    July 10, 2013
    I created this locus to trowel out the floor adjacent to locus 18 (the feature locus). I wanted to make sure I found the floor everywhere. The soil was very packed and clay like. It was light brown with some yellow. i found ash \\\"pockets\\\" along the floor, which I soil sampled in the next locus. This locus is bordered by locus 20, the NE wall, locus 18, and the balk.
