This locus was opened to excavate the interior of the room further as a soil color was seen at the bottom of locus 2 from dark soil to medium soil. Locus 3 is bordered by the NW, NE, SE and baulk. It is located within locus 2. I also opened this locus to further expose the rocks along the NW wall and see if they are floating. The soil is medium brown at the top and bottom of this locus. No small find, charcoal samples, or soil samples in this locus
