Locus 4 was opened to take a pass at the rocks along the NW wall to identify the floaters. I removed 1 boulder out of this locus. I think there are others that may be floating and I will trowel out the remaining rocks. Locus 4 is bordered by the NW wall, the NE wall, Locus 5, and the baulk. Locus 4 is located within locus 3. The soil is pretty dark along the rocks. I took 2 passes with a shovel in this section. Still dark soil, but I am seeing more rocks. No small finds, no charcoal samples and no soil samples in this locus
