Fragment from a small unrestricted LM bowl or pot. If it is indeed a bowl, it may be a typical LB “shoulderless,” where the neck flows into the body without jutting into a shoulder. The decorative schema consists of a single application of circumferential comb-incised lines--7 lines in total. The lines average 0.175 cm in width and are spaced on average 0.125 cm apart. The exterior appears to have been highly polished at some point, with significant amounts of it now abraded off, particularly between each comb incision. The spaces between each line feature a line of missing circumferential polish/slip. Dense circumferential rotational striations are visible on the interior surface, while several are visible among the external comb incisions. The exterior surface features limited amounts of light gray dendritic corrosion, while the internal surface features the same concretion materials distributed across its entirety. In addition to the medium sand, significant frequencies of coarse and sand inclusions are visible in the fabric. Both surfaces feature limited frequencies of mica perforations. Breaks are rough.
