Remarks

A small LB bowl with no real neck. The rim is separated from the shoulder by an incision technique.

Moderate amount of very coarse sand or grit is also present in the fabric.

The upper decoration is all around the upper shoulder of the vessel. It consist of polished zig-zag. Each zig-zag is 15 mm high and 15 mm wide. Underneath the zig-zag, the shoulder is not polished.

The middle decoration is all around (circumscribes) the vessel and the transition between body and shoulder. It consist of three furrows which average 76 mm deep and 12 mm wide. The most inferior furrow is visibly shorter than the others.

The bottom decoration is polished and is on the external surface of the base. It represents schematically a tree with the trunk covering the diameter of the base and the branches spreading out to each part of the base. 6 branches on one side and 4 on the other.

There is very limited amount of pale yellow accretion on the exterior surface. Small mica inclusions are visible perforating both surfaces. Burnishing marks are very intense and visible on both surfaces and are circular and obliques. Fabric is very compact.

In the middle and lower part of the body we can feel some ondulations.

Breaks are all rough and post removal from chamber.
