Place: Ar/An.01.16

Locus 16 is yet again the continuation of the floor deposit, probably at its lowest level. This locus marks a packed clay with specs of charcoal, in some areas giving way to a medium brown gravely clayey silt (which is what leads me to think we are reaching a fill beneath the floor). 3 MB samples taken from this locus, adjacent to the west baulk. Top elevation is 1.41 bd 1 and bottom is 1.57 bd 1.
