This ceramic disk, in contrast to the others discovered at T38, is ovular in shape. The diameter is 58.66 on its longest side and 44.17 on its shorter side. Given the breadth and form of the disk it is clear that this object is a repurposed ceramic sherd. The edges of the disk are very smooth -- the product of usage. While one side of the object is smooth, the other is a bit more coarse. While the exterior (smooth) side is black in color, the interior appears to be a brownish red.
