This small ceramic disk was likely made from a pre-existing pot sherd. The coloring is a dark gray on gray, although it is conceivable that this was originally black on black but the color has faded over time. The object is smooth on both sides and has been visibly worked into its circular form. The edges are somewhat smooth, but not overtly worn. Based on the coloring, fabric, and context it seems likely that it was made from an EB sherd although it is unclear which period.
