Locus 01 is the topsoil in BC03 Trench 02. T02 was placed around what appeared to be two capstones of a cist chamber or similar construction near the sand mine. It was opened in order to better investigate the temporal and spatial dimensions of BC03 and to assess the burials that are in danger from the sand mine operations.
Locus 01 was opened and closed on July 16, 2016.

NW: -1.30, -1.44
SW: -1.45, -1.61
SE: -1.64, -1.64 (just outside of a large basalt rock)
NE: -1.75, -1.87
C: -1.53, -1.67
The height of the locus is based on the center elevation.
Lithics - 4 pieces of obsidian with 1 evidence of modification, others have evidence of flakes chipped off.
