Locus 26 refers to the wall running from locus 22 (the burial architecture) into the northern baulk. This wall runs NW from the tomb's large central capstone. Approximately 40cm wide, the orientation of the architectural feature appears to mirror that of locus (wall) 9. It seems to more or less conform to the same style and axis as locus 24 (to the south of the tomb). It remains unclear if these two walls constitute fragments of the much larger wall 10. The construction sequence with respect to the tomb is still not overtly clear. It seems that the wall either could have been built around the tomb or rather, that we have two stages of construction and the tomb was built within an existing architectural framework. The parallel symmetry between wall 9 and 10 (and the diameter of locus 9) supports the idea that loci 24 and 26 are actually constituent components of locus 10.
