Locus 3 is like Locus 2 in soil composition. It is comprised of the same dark and soft brown soil with some small tuff and basalt stones scattered throughout. We descended another 10 cm with Locus 3. Locus 3 yielded a single piece of obsidian. After cleaning the layer we decided to descend another 10 cm as there was no noticeable change in soil.
