Remarks

This locus refers to the burial located in the northern quadrant of T38. This feature is characterized by a large capstone, which appears to function as a roof, and a few supporting stones. There appears to be a gate, or doorstone, at the southern end. While the configuration resembles that of locus 22, the size of this burial is considerably smaller and sits at a much lower elevation. It is unclear, at the present moment, if this feature is contemporaneous with any of the other architectural features in the unit. Similarly to the locus 22 burial, there is a scatter of human remains situated around the tomb (locus 57).
