This small ceramic wheel was likely part of a chariot figurine. It fairly even around its edges and contains a small circular spokes on both sides at its center. The diameter of this spoke is approximately 14.91mm. On one side there is a small circular depression within this spoke with a diameter of 3.99mm. The breadth of this wheel ranges from 6.85mm at the edge to 26.11mm from one spoke to the other. This wheel is considerably larger -- and more in tact -- than the other three found in the same pit context. The color composition of this object is uneven. It is dark reddish gray and weak red. This distribution could be a sign of wear. It is clear that the clay was tempered with some sort of small chaff inclusion.
