Designated MAE1751--radiographed, XRF
A fragment from what is likely an LB bowl. The decorative schema consists of a single application of circumferential comb-incised lines--4 lines in total. The lines average 0.13 cm in width and are spaced on average 0.11 cm apart. The exterior appears to have been highly polished at some point, with significant amounts of it now abraded off, particularly between each comb incision. The spaces between each line feature a line of missing circumferential polish/slip. The interior surface features limited amounts of pale brown concretion. In addition to the fine sand, limited frequencies of medium sand are visible in the fabric. Significant frequencies of inclusions perforate all surfaces. Breaks are rough.
