Fill layer covered by locus 2 and located along the N side of locus 3. It is made of the same matrix as locus 2. It was distinguished from locus 2 in case locus 3 would turn out to be an architectural feature, and thus having locus 5 corresponding to the external area of a structure. The same rationale was applied to locus 4, which was also distinguished from locus 2 as the potential internal area of the wall structure. However, investigations reveal that the stones identified as locus 3 area floating within the matrix of 2, 4, and 5. Therefore, loci 2, 4, and 5 are equivalent.
