Designated MAE186--radiographed, XRF, SAXS. Fragment from an medium-sized LM vessel. There is a possible decoration positioned on the inferior neck (circumferential line?), but it is positioned right at the sherd break and therefore difficult to conclusively identify. The internal and external surfaces feature numerous chips and spalls, so that the complete rim surface is only preserved for about a quarter of the rim. Dense circumferential rotational striations are visible on all surfaces. In addition to the fine sand, significant amounts of medium, coarse, and very coarse sand is visible in the fabric and perforating the surfaces, particularly the interior. Pyrite is also visible in both surfaces in limited amounts. Breaks are rough.
