A packed dark brown silt floor? matrix with 30% decomposed rubble located in the northern trench extensions. The possible floor contains a pit feature, rodent burrows, a rubble pile in the SE corner, and additional rock arrangements implanted in the floor. 7/31/03 The extensive animal activity discovered in later loci suggests that this packed surface may have been the result of animal activity and not a cultural level.
